Fantastic game at Matthews Arena tonight. BC took a 1-0 lead deep into the 3rd period but with 26 seconds left, junior Randy Guzior tied the game after NU pulled goalie Brad Thiessen in the hopes that they can somehow hold on to their 1st place dreams.It looked like the two teams were going to remain knotted when late in the overtime freshman Steve Quailer netted one to put Northeastern atop the Hockey East standings for at least one more night!
NU is now the master of their domain - it's simple, win one more and you finish 1st in Hockey East for the first time ever.
