"It's definitely entertaining to watch," Pioneer goalie Marc Cheverie told the Denver Post's Mike Chambers Friday following his team's knock-down, drag-out, 1-0 win over North Dakota. Based on Mr. Cheverie's weekend numbers—58 saves, 2 GA, and an NCAA-best fourth shutout—he was just as entertaining.

You know you've had a rough go at a particular road venue when you get a sweep and your school's all-time win total in that arena nearly doubles. That's what happened to the RedHawks, who got all-time wins nos. 4 and 5 at Yost Ice Arena this past weekend.

2. North Dakota
The Fighting Sioux have scored three or more goals seven times in eight games this season, the lone exception being a 2-1 loss at Alaska Anchorage on Oct. 24.

2009/10 Season Heats Up:

Great hockey so far this early in the season. This site will have more of a Hockey East flair to it but I welcome any and all discussions from all fans around the country.
